Specific Breaches of Phospholipids Metabolism at Liver Cirrhosis of White Rats
It was shown that the level of lipid freeradical oxidation was enhanced during the experimental cirrhosis induced by CCl4 in white rat erythrocytes, brain and liver. Simultaneously the stability of the ratio of phospholipid - phospholipid was breached. The injection of antioxidant compounds a-tocopherole and sodium thiosulfate developed a protective effect which leads to the normalization of blood peroxide content and phospholipid composition of the animals.
