The
Inhibition by Cytochrome b558III of the Superoxide-Producing Activity
of Suprol
and its Stimulation by Carbone Tetrachloride in Vitro
The erythrocyte membranes cytochrome b558
reduces (60.5±6.4%, n = 6, P < 0.05), and
CCl4 stimulates (31.4±3.2%, n = 6, P <
0.03) the
producing activity
of high density lipoprotein of serum - suprol in vitro. Moreover, the
NADPH-dependent
producing
activity of cytochrome b558III is increasing (20-30%). Thus, cytochrome b558 III
elevates the stability of suprol, whereas CCl4, on the contrary,
reduces it.
